The "Take & Pay Procedure" for craps is
the following:
When the point is established:
1. Down Behind (this is the "Don't Come" boxes behind the numbers)
2. Field
3. Big 6 & 8
4. Don't Come Box
5. Come Bets
6. Place Bets
If the roll is a winner or a 7 out then start with the Pass/Don't Pass Line.
Come Out Roll:
If a 2, 3, 11, 12 or 7 is rolled then take the losing bets first starting with the Pass/Don't Pass Line.
There is a saying that might help you remember this:
"Down Behind the Field 68 Aliens are COMEing to Place Bets"

What order do you pay bets in craps? If I
remember right it went something like: Field, down behind, come
bets, the line or dont's, place bets, props. Am I close?

We finally have the new flashcards ready and available! Thank you for waiting. Go to the
Roulette Flashcards
page and you will see the new cards labeled as "Units". I hope everyone enjoys them!

Thank you so much for that suggestion!
You're right, while some dealers (including myself) think of the
payoffs in cash amounts, other dealers think of units when figuring
out the payoffs. I think that is a great idea and I will begin
making those flashcards immediately. It will take me some time to
complete it but I will work diligently until it is done.
Thank you for your input.

Your roulette flash cards are a great idea. The only problem is you give the answers as cash value and not number of pieces. I'm a 20 year roulette dealer, and regardless of chip value always pay in pieces. I always announce 105 quarters and not $2625. It's kind of important to get dealers, especially new ones to think in pieces. It makes everything easier in the end.
